Mar i muntanya: My mother’s meatballs

Meatballs with escamarlans (norway lobsters) is one of my mother’s specialties. Mandunguilles amb sepia (meatballs with squid) is a very typical variation of this dish that we might make sometimes. Either way, this dish is a must try!


We will also cook two other market seasonal tapa dishes in this class that will nicely pair with the main dish and a dessert. Typical dishes that I teach in this class include: roasted artichokes with shrimps, peas with jamón ibérico de bellota, salted cod fish and chickpeas topped with grilled all i oli, mussels with rosemary, escalivada (grilled peppers, eggplants, tomatoes and garlic). Some of the desserts that we prepare include: apple pudding with raisins, gató Mallorquí, and menjar blanc (similar to blancmange)

This class takes place every Thursday from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
