29 May Pesolada at Caldes d’Estrac, Maresme – Catalunya and walk to the beach
From March to May we can get delighted with the “Green Pearl” of Maresme, the pea variety also called the Flower Pea. It is a pea variety that is very sweet and tender, and is really a de lica teeee ssen! 🙂
My brother is still visiting so we cannot not take him to Manau , a restaurant in Caldes d’Estrac where they offer a menu based on different dishes made with peas; the so-called Pesolada Menu. In that menu they offer dishes like peas sautée with jamón ibérico de bellota, peas stewed with pork ribs and black sausage, and veal with mushrooms and peas.
After the Pesolada we walked to the beach to feel the sand, not the water. Not warm enough yet…
